Roopa Pemmaraju Gives Back to Indigenous Australian Communities

Indian-born designer, Roopa Pemmaraju will be debuting her ethically produced luxury resort-wear collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia next week.
Her Spring Summer 2012/13 collection which is inspired by Indigenous Australia and the Australian landscape, features amazing original fabric designs created by renowned Australian indigenous artists.
Roopa has pledged to give back to those artists who feature in her collections by donating 20% of profits from each garment in the Spring Summer 2012/12 collection to Aboriginal communities.
It is so refreshing to see those in the public eye do something to try make the World a better place. I am so excited to go to Roopa's show on Thursday 3rd May, I'm sure it will be a truly inspired collection! Stay tuned, as I will make sure to bring you complete coverage.
